RI’s Education programmes span from post-conflict and disaster reconstruction to equipping high-need schools with modern Information and Communications Technology. Through a Global Citizenship and Youth Philanthropy approach, RI offers teacher and youth-centred opportunities that increase individual and community connectivity—locally and internationally. RI’s International Education programmes focus on: Teacher Professional Development training, literacy, cross-cultural exchange and dialogue, and service-learning. This multi-faceted approach gives RI the flexibility to tailor education programming for cultural appropriateness and to meet the specific needs of vulnerable and marginalized populations—increasing participation and capacity for civil conflict resolution and global interconnectivity.
